Free digital training is available for businesses and employees across Greater Manchester via the newly launched Digital Careers Upskill Programme.
Courses are available in technical digital skills including software development, network engineering, cloud engineering, data analysis, CAD, digital marketing, cyber security and many more subjects to address skills shortages across the city-region.
According to The Confederation of British Industry
95% of businesses expect their digital skills needs to grow and
58% of firms say they’ll need significantly more digital skills
in the next five years.

The free digital skills training is possible thanks to Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s three-year Skills for Growth programme, which is funded through the European Social Fund.
The programme enables employees to reskill and enter into a digital career or upskill and progress in their field, both to support and grow their employer’s digital capabilities.
