When writing sales plans are you working to performance targets set by your investors?

  • The marketplace, economic and industry trends and the competitive environment
  • The average productivity of your new business and key account sales teams
  • The typical rates of customer churn by analysing previous years. This can be as much as 25 to 30% of total revenues
  • Does your plan require additional salespeople and if so have you factored in recruitment costs and probationary periods?
  • Are your recruitment methods adequate bearing in mind that salespeople are first-class at selling themselves?
