After 3 years of importing air sourced heat pumps for static caravans, we decided to address Garden offices, thinking the requirements were similar. It turns out that they are not. The market is far stronger, but the technical requirements are different.
We are developing a new product which specifically addresses this market, and could be manufactured in the UK at a lower price than importing in the present economic climate. As we are still in the process of protecting our IP, we can only release details under an NDA.
This product is more flexible than the one we were importing, and would also be suitable for a wider range of premises. With further development, could provide a green replacement for oil fired boilers in home heating with a very rapid ROI given present fuel prices.
We are open to suggestions on the the form of funding, and would welcome contact from potential intermediaries.
